JOB DESCRIPTION | Membership Coordinator

Position Summary: 

The Membership Coordinator is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in hospitality, sales, or community management. You’ll play a key role in developing The Malin’s local community by converting membership leads, fostering member engagement, maintaining an exceptional workspace, and driving retention through thoughtful, personalized service. This dynamic role offers hands-on experience in relationship management, sales, and operations, with the opportunity to build valuable skills in a hospitality-driven, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales 

● Conduct tours, follow up with leads, and convert prospects into Access and Dedicated Desk memberships. 

● Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activity, conversions, churn, and referrals.

● Identify opportunities to convert on-demand customers into repeat customers and members.

● Support the GM in tracking membership and on-demand performance. 

Community Building 

● Cultivate a thriving community, fostering meaningful connections within the member base.

● Build meaningful relationships with members; act as a connector and ambassador for the brand.

● Collaborate with the team on retention and referral strategies. 

Experience Management 

● Collect and analyze member feedback to develop local engagement initiatives, enhance the workspace experience, and drive member satisfaction. 

● Address member needs to improve retention and engagement. 

● Support the General Manager in planning monthly events and activations that foster connection and add value to the Malin membership. 

Space 

● Maintain a tidy and orderly environment aligned with brand guidelines and space expectations.

● Collaborate with the team on punch list management and timely facilities maintenance resolutions. 

● Conduct member onboarding and ensure all members are clear on space standards, offerings, and proper use of amenities.

Salary: $40,000–$45,000 annually (fixed range; non-negotiable)

● Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 Vacation Days, 10 Sick Days, all company holidays

● Parental Leave: 20 weeks at full pay, for full-time employees (1+ year of service)
