Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to engage and motivate elementary-aged children
• Flexibility and adaptability in varying educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' functional skills in fine motor, sensory, and self-care areas
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, primarily at the elementary level
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers
• Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Provide training and support for staff on implementing OT strategies in the classroom
