Accountant

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accountant for our client in Raleigh, NC. The Accountant is responsible for duties related to month-end close, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and general journal entries throughout the month. This role will assist in preparing and reporting financial statements conforming to GAAP requirements. Job Responsibilities Support of the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization Completing month-end close process and preparation of general ledger account analysis Posting all relevant accounting journal entries Creation, analysis and posting of various month end accruals Identify and implement process improvement in the month end close process, including methods to accelerate overall close timeline while maintaining accuracy Perform and assist with identified account reconciliations and analysis Conduct sales agent commission process (accrual/payments) Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts Assist with preparation of audit reports and inquiries Monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms to accurately record the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible) Tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and disposition Assist with preparation of company capex reporting requirements Complete special projects as assigned to support finance organization Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures Job Requirements Minimum work experience of 5+ years Accounting experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accountingor related field High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong attention to details Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize independently Self‑motivated with a focus on process improvements Must be an outstanding communicator, and have established skills in accuracy, organization, and working in a high‑volume environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
