Custodial Supervisor-Housing and Residence Life

Job Summary Supervise and monitor the activities of custodial personnel in the delivery of building‑cleaning services within an assigned area. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. Responsibilities Set and maintain work assignments and schedules of custodial personnel; monitor performance and maintain associated records. Inspect work areas and confer regularly with building management and occupants regarding quality of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate and conduct training of custodial personnel; maintain associated records. Requisition and supervise the maintenance of materials and supplies. Supervise the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma. Required Qualifications Four to five years of job‑related experience. Rotating shift work is required to maintain 24/7 coverage. Proposed Salary Pay Range: $19.28–$26.22 per hour. Skills & Knowledge This job requires skills in the management of custodial services delivery, including organization, planning, scheduling, supervision, communication, customer service, and recordkeeping. It also requires knowledge and skills in custodial processes and procedures, and equipment operation and maintenance.
