Program & Operations Manager-Housing and Residence Life

Job Summary Provide promotional, administrative, performance assessment, and financial/accounting services in support of assigned program(s) within a research center, academic unit, or other campus units of a school. These functions may encompass a variety of activities related to program success, including coordination of program marketing, administration, operations, and development. This position will interact on a consistent basis with research, academic, and administrative management and staff within a school or center, across campus, vendors, and sponsors. This position will supervise: NA. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience: Four to six years of job‑related experience. Job Duties Design/develop promotional and marketing materials to include those developed for specific target audiences in support of program outreach efforts. Plan, schedule, and coordinate promotional events. Coordinate administrative activities associated with program operations such as procurement, records maintenance, compliance, meeting arrangements and minutes, and document preparation. Develop, analyze, reconcile, and report financial data related to program operations. Develop and maintain performance assessment tools applied in program review to measure and report progress. Collaborate with internal and external entities to aid institutional or program support. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Educational Qualifications Master’s Degree in Student Affairs, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, or related field. Preferred Additional Skills Event Management Experience Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills Detail-Oriented Marketing and Design Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Graphic Design Proposed Salary Pay Range: $56,000-$72,000/yr. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities This job requires working knowledge of research program promotion and administration. Included are skills in developing and administering program assessment tools, marketing, and financial analysis and reporting. Also required are skills in planning, organization, spoken and written communications, scheduling, and customer service. Use of the office and specialized computer applications and databases is required.
