Leasing Specialist

Overview The Michaels Organization is a national leader in residential real estate offering development, property management, construction, and investment capabilities. This role is responsible for developing marketing programs to generate prospective residents and converting them into actual residents to achieve property occupancy goals. Responsibilities Greeting and answering questions from prospects and current residents in a professional and positive manner (phone and in-person) Develop both print and internet marketing and advertising strategies Daily follow-up on guest cards Participate in outreach marketing activities, distribute flyers, advertising and marketing materials Facilitate the move-in process including tours of models or vacant units, setup of mini-models as needed, promoting the property and lease signing Assist with application verifications Conduct marketing surveys, monitor competitors where applicable, and complete Marketing Reports Ensure all business transactions comply with Michaels policies and procedures and with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and all applicable laws Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Required Experience: Two or more years of experience with Marketing/Leasing and Customer Service Required Education/Training: High School Diploma required; any college-level marketing coursework preferred Required Skills And Abilities: Excellent communication and organizational skills; creative with developing innovative marketing presentations while being detail-oriented regarding applications, verifications, and compliance; RealPage software knowledge is a plus; understanding of LIHTC or Section 8 and mixed-finance properties experience is a plus Working Conditions: Primarily an office position, with ability to tour models/vacancies and distribute materials; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when required Salary and Benefits The salary range reflects targeted base pay; within the range, pay varies by location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
