Summary
We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team at Shelly Leeke Law Firm. In this role, you will be instrumental in advocating for injury victims and ensuring they receive the justice they deserve. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to client care and effective legal representation.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, including trials and negotiations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and options regarding personal injury claims.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting personal injury cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
- Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in litigation.
- Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Knowledge of personal injury law, including workers compensation is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while meeting deadlines.
