Veterinary Receptionist (Experienced)

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy veterinary hospital. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently handle a high volume of phone calls, and is passionate about providing exceptional service to both clients and their pets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of incoming calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
• Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits
• Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
• Process payments, invoices, and client records
• Respond to client inquiries and relay messages to medical staff
• Maintain accurate patient information and medical records
• Support daily front desk operations and ensure a positive client experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience required
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple phone lines and a high call volume
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Experience with veterinary software preferred
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a busy veterinary hospital or emergency practice
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling and client communication systems
