Required Qualifications/Desired Skills:

• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
• Comfort working with elementary populations in a multicultural setting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing assessments for students
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals and student needs
• Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions through both individual and group sessions
• Maintain thorough records and progress reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies for language success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and insights
• Foster an inclusive, supportive therapeutic environment for all learners
