Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Relevant state licensure or ability to obtain prior to assignment start
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred, but emerging professionals are encouraged to apply
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment skills related to language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and appropriate therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Offer training, resources, and support to staff and caregivers to further student success
• Contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring student needs are clearly articulated and supported
