As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal supervision and site management. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
