Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate or Bachelor s Degree preferred with a psychology, social work or healthcare related field
• Valid NJ Driver's license without restrictions

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with youth ages 6-17 years of age that are experiencing behavioral health symptoms that impede their ability to be successfuMoving down in order of pertinence

Scheduling Requirements

• Evening Shift
• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Establishes and maintains supportive relationships with consumers
• Serves as a broker between the needs and perspective of the consumer and the goals of the treatment system; may include educating treatment providers and advocating on behalf of the consumer
• Information sharing regarding the emergency assessment and/or screening process
• One-on-one attention and encouragement to individuals who are undergoing the emergency assessment/screening process
• Responsible for modeling/ coaching in the use of coping skills
• Provides personal assistance and support during crisis episode,
