Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Mill Brook Rehab and Healthcare Center in Fall River, Massachusetts. Job Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently cook an assortment of meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
Prepare and plate meals, including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure accurate meal prep and delivery
Follow standardized recipes and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Manage inventory and purchasing, and rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality
Develop and maintain recipes to ensure compliance with dietary requirements and preferences
Handle last-minute requests for special events and menu items
Requirements:
Cook Position: Classically trained and experienced in a high-volume culinary environment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification a plus
