Details Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 15 monitored Ante-partum beds High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500 deliveries per month 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage with Perinatal Transport Program support Women's Emergency Department has 14 beds and sees patients ranging from 16 weeks gestation to 6 weeks postpartum with expanded GYN scope Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) required BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery and Women's Emergency Department setting Radius rule applies at this facility, allowing local candidates but potentially at a reduced rate Travelers are encouraged to discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date COVID vaccination is not required for this facility American Traveler Job ID P-747683.
