Essential Job Duties

• Assist dentists directly during complex medical and dental procedures.
• Set up instrument trays and position dental tools for easy dentist access.
• Select, mix, and place dental materials on tools or directly into patient mouths.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and take custom impressions from initial moldings.
• Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays.

Patient Care and Triage

• Welcome, seat, and prepare patients for their upcoming treatment.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and updated dental charts.
• Triage dental patients based on urgency and assist with emergency care.
• Educate families on proper oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative recovery steps.

Records and Administration

• Document all dental care and procedures instantly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Coordinate patient flow by helping schedule future follow-ups, processing dental referrals, and handling medication refills.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock operational exam rooms to keep up par levels.
• Monitor equipment and inventory to track supply levels, request orders, and verify incoming shipments.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Training: Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
• Language: Fluent bilingual skills in English and Spanish.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited dental assistant program (or willingness to learn if in training).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is frequently required.
• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evans, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $27.38/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
