Sales Associate Full-Time & Part-Time

Pointers Ace Hardware is looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Sales Associates . We are a locally owned hardware store focused on providing knowledgeable service and a great experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

Prior retail or trade experience is preferred but not required . We are willing to train the right person. At Pointers Ace Hardware, we value character, integrity, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic just as much as previous experience .

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Help customers locate products and find solutions for their projects
• Answer phones and assist with customer questions
• Stock merchandise and keep shelves organized
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor
• Assist with pulling and loading customer orders
• Learn about our products and services to better assist customers
• Work as part of a team to provide an excellent customer experience

• Ability to work well with customers and coworkers
• Willingness to stay busy and help wherever needed
• Retail, hardware, construction, mechanical, lawn & garden, or other trade experience is a plus, but not required

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 16 years or older

Preferred qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
• 2-3 years of total work experience
