Secretary - Associate Principal Katy ISD TAYLOR HIGH - Katy, Texas Job ID: 5816071 Application Deadline: Jul 13, 2026 11:59 PM (Central Standard Time) Posted: Jul 06, 2026 5:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Reports To: Associate Principal Duty Days: 228 Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Pay Grade: AS03 Qualifications: College hours, high school diploma or GED Successful school work experience 50 WPM with accuracy Knowledge of file management system Good communication skills Expertise in office machines including computer Knowledge of word processing Experience with budget and bookkeeping Ability to organize Primary Purpose: Clerical assistance as assigned Major Duties and Responsibilities Type correspondence, reports, agendas, memos, etc. Daily telephone communication. Coordinate communications with department personnel. Greet and assist visitors and district personnel. Xerox and distribute copies. Receive, process, and distribute mail. Keep daily and monthly reports up-to-date, record and distribute. Maintain filing system. Equipment Used: Personal computer, typewriter, printer, copier, and fax machine. Working Conditions: Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions.
