Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position calls for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized support either at the elementary or secondary level, with each caseload focusing on approximately 10 students. This is a full-time, on-site role (35-40 hours weekly) and requires your expertise and presence to create an effective, supportive learning environment.

Your specialized skillset and compassion will help nurture students’ academic and functional progress. The ideal candidate holds a current low-incidence (functional) special education license and is adept at designing and implementing comprehensive educational plans, collaborating with classroom teams, and fostering inclusive educational experiences.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid low-incidence special education teaching license, present and active at submission
• Proven experience in special education with a focus on significant disabilities
• Ability to craft and adapt IEPs and progress-monitor student goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to in-person instruction and hands-on support (no virtual options)
• Dedicated to building a positive and inclusive environment for each student

What you’ll do:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions for students with significant disabilities
• Manage a caseload of 10 students in either an elementary or secondary setting
• Work closely with paraprofessionals and support staff to ensure student goals are met
• Track, document, and communicate students’ progress with families and school leadership
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
