Master Scheduler

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 Location: On-Site in Grand Rapids, MI Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-45 hours per week Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production planning, material scheduling, and procurement activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for aligning production schedules, material availability, and customer demand to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, production capacity, and material availability. Coordinate with production, supply chain, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely product delivery. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, material shortages, equipment downtime, or other disruptions. Lead planning reviews and maintain forecasts for materials and resource requirements. Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, improve scheduling accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency. Ensure timely availability of materials through effective procurement planning and supplier coordination. Maintain accurate scheduling documentation, reports, and records. Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in planning and scheduling. Follow all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including GMP standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or materials management within a manufacturing environment. Experience with MRP/ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
