Controller Los Angeles , CA Direct Hire Accounting Management $110K to $150K 09/24/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $150,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and day to day accounting activities. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and forecasts to support business planning and decision making. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, revenue tracking, inventory accounting, and other key financial functions. Coordinate audit activities, regulatory reporting, and compliance efforts while maintaining accurate financial records. Lead accounting staff, establish effective procedures, and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Previous experience leading accounting teams and overseeing multiple accounting functions. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance requirements. Prior experience with accounting software, financial systems, and technology implementation projects. Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the capacity to identify opportunities for process and performance improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executives and cross functional teams. Advanced understanding of accounting regulations, internal controls, and financial best practices. Highly organized professional with exceptional attention to detail and strong decision making skills.
