Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
DAYS - 12HR: Rotation between 3A-3P and 7A-7P
36 hours per week
Weekend requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.

Assignment Details
Contract Duration: 16 weeks.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements
- Active NY RN license
- NIH certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a comparable setting
- 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in specialized geriatric emergency care as needed.
- Adhere to clinical protocols and guidelines to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
On-call shifts are not required but highly recommended, with the option to complete 32 to 44 hours, averaging 2 hours of call per contracted week.
