Job Description
Title: Nursing Assistant - Long-Term Care

Schedule:
- Day Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
- Evening Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
- Night Shift: 11:15 pm - 7:15 am

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Contract Length: 6 weeks

Requirements:
- Six months of experience in a long-term care facility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Workers within six months of employment

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in observing and reporting a variety of physical and mental symptoms of patients
- Implement care and treatment procedures for a caseload of patients
- Measure and record vital signs, recognizing abnormal signs and symptoms
- Support activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, and dressing
- Assist in applying principles of restorative care and the use of assistive devices
- Maintain personal hygiene and safety standards

Compliance / Notes:
- Must adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Retain emotional stability in a fast-paced environment
