Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
• Evening Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
• Night Shift: 11:15 pm - 7:15 am

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Contract Length: 6 weeks

Requirements:

• Six months of experience in a long-term care facility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Workers within six months of employment

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in observing and reporting a variety of physical and mental symptoms of patients
• Implement care and treatment procedures for a caseload of patients
• Measure and record vital signs, recognizing abnormal signs and symptoms
• Support activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, and dressing
• Assist in applying principles of restorative care and the use of assistive devices
• Maintain personal hygiene and safety standards

Compliance / Notes:

• Must adhere to safety and infection control protocols
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Retain emotional stability in a fast-paced environment
