General Ledger Accountant

The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for GL accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting support across multiple entities and locations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, roll-forwards, and account analyses. Perform general ledger and subledger reconciliations and research discrepancies. Prepare complex account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP. Prepare and reconcile intercompany journal entries and transactions. Support the month-end close and ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule. Work across multiple operating entities, joint ventures, and locations. Identify accounting issues, research variances, and provide timely resolutions. Support internal and external audit requests. Qualifications 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience. Strong month-end close and account reconciliation experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Multi-entity or multi-site/state experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of US GAAP required; federal contracting experience preferred. Strong ability to analyze financial information, research issues, and meet deadlines.
