Senior Sales Executive

Senior Sales ExecutiveAs a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, prospecting, soliciting, and closing new accounts leveraging all of C.H. Robinson's logistics services (including but not limited to: Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Outsource Solutions.). You will be in daily contact with potential customers with gross sales from $50-$500 million, building relationships, problem solving and assessing their needs. This position will be responsible for promoting and selling C.H. Robinson's products and services in accordance with organizational sales policies and processes, and in pursuit of established objectives. This position is based in our Chicago location. We know you are more than your job, and we are here to help you balance it all.Responsibilities:Execute a hunter-style prospecting strategy across your territory using phone outreach, online insights, field visits, referral channels, industry relationships, and trade show presence.Represent and sell C.H. Robinson's industry-leading core suite of servicesInside sales: Drive initial prospect engagement through phone, email, and tech-powered outreach tools to uncover customer needs and qualify opportunities.Outside sales: Facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, close business in personIndependently identify and generate new sales opportunitiesCollaborate internally with team on pricing strategy and account implementation plansAssist with account management issues after the sale, as neededEstablish credit terms with clients in coordination with company goals and directivesManage individual sales funnel information regarding all prospective customers in the required formatReview weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers with ManagementEngaging in self-development & training opportunities, both internal & externalRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 2 years of previous consultative sales experienceAbility to travel a minimum of 50%CompensationBase salary pay plus on-target earning potential of $110K - $165K per yearC.H.
