Job Title

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week | Weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit need

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare adult inpatient and outpatient patients for interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures
• Provide intra-procedure monitoring and post-procedure recovery care, including PACU and extended stay (23-hour) observation
• Serve as an essential member of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients
• Apply critical thinking and strong communication skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including wearing facility-issued and laundered scrubs in procedural areas

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
• Telemetry experience
