About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Cardiology Technologist Profession: Allied Level 2 Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience License: NYS Radiology Tech License Certifications: NMTCB or ARRT(N), BLS Certification Must-Have: - 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience - 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience - NYS Radiology License - ARRT Certification with CE credits - BLS Certification Description: Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times. Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations within the guidelines. Manage and document patient data in the eRecord system while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Partner with colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols. Uphold integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in every aspect of work. Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis assessments, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoid or viability studies.
