Together with Palmer Logistics, we are building on a shared commitment to safety, operational excellence, customer partnerships, innovation and continuous improvement.This position offers the opportunity to build strong customer relationships, deliver solutions that make a positive impact for customers and the company, and help shape the future of our U.S. warehouse operations.Position SummaryThe Account Specialist is responsible for being the primary interface with our customers, ensuring procedures are followed, and customer requirements are met in the processing of their orders. Account Specialists will serve as an intermediary between the customer and our warehouse operations while implementing best practices that support the continued growth of Palmer Logistics and H. Essers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, customer-focused individual who is proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Pay Rate:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience and knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Processing customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient matter.Follow established company policies and procedures.Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.High school diploma or GED.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsuranceVoluntary Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Short-Term Disability & Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffPalmer Logistics and H.
