What You'll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments and screenings for inmates
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers
- Perform routine rounds in confined housing areas to monitor inmate mental health
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling as needed
- Document findings and treatment progress accurately
- Participate in team meetings to coordinate comprehensive mental health care
What You Need
Required:
- Active or eligible license as a psychologist
- Experience in conducting psychological assessments and counseling
- Strong knowledge of mental health treatment techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred:
- Experience working with inmate populations or in correctional facilities
- Crisis intervention skills
