Data Science Manager - Market Origination

Salary: $160,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of experience in sports betting, fantasy sports, or a related gaming field, ideally with exposure to line setting, trading, or player performance modeling.
• We want a strong background in data science, statistics, or software engineering.
• We expect proven people-management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.
• We require proficiency in SQL and either Python or R, along with hands-on experience in predictive modeling, forecasting, and statistical methods.
• We need a deep understanding of how player props and sports or esports markets are built, launched, and modeled.
• We look for a track record of leading complex initiatives from concept through delivery in a fast-moving environment.
• We value strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across data, product, and operations.

• We will have you own our line-setting approach and projection accuracy for fantasy markets, balancing broad coverage with competitive line quality.
• We will rely on you to lead and develop a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts focused on market creation and prop origination.
• You will oversee the creation, refinement, and rollout of projection models across major sports and esports, including NBA, NFL, MLB, and CS2.
• You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Pricing, and BizOps to introduce new markets and expand our coverage.
• You will guide experimentation around line accuracy, prop selection, and coverage strategy to increase engagement and grow our market catalog.
• You will maintain and improve frameworks for projection accuracy, coverage quality, and market health monitoring.
• You will ensure strong data integrity and modeling standards across all origination work.
