Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Blandon, Pennsylvania

Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing systems, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and equipment.
Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Production.
Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Support new product introductions and ensure manufacturability.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in real-time.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Education & Qualifications:

College degree preferred but not required.
2+ years’ experience in manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Experience in design, the appliance industry, or sheet metal.
CAD drawing experience.
Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
