Family Law Associate Attorney

Overview This role is for an attorney seeking high-level, meaningful work in international family law. The position involves managing complex custody, divorce, and cross-border disputes while providing compassionate representation to diverse clients. Responsibilities Handle complex international family law matters, including child abduction, high-conflict divorce, and financially intricate cases. Take ownership of cases and develop comprehensive legal strategies. Represent clients in court for motions, hearings, and trials. Represent clients in mediations and arbitrations. Conduct discovery, including depositions, and produce strong written work product. Build trusted relationships with clients in highly sensitive situations. Collaborate with a supportive team and contribute to firm growth and visibility. Work across international time zones as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of Washington family law experience. Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills. Excellent writing, research, and case-management abilities. Ability to connect with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Emotional intelligence, professional maturity, and compassion. Flexibility to work in various international time zones. Excellent time-management and communication skills. Enthusiasm for marketing, networking, and leadership development. Team-player mindset. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $110,000 - $175,000, based on experience and performance.
