Regional Patient Access Lead- Southeast

Regional Patient Access Lead responsible for managing a team of patient access liaisons in the Southeast, ensuring patients receive support with medication access and logistical questions. Role involves team leadership, performance management, cross-functional coordination, and strategic input on patient access initiatives for rare disease populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team of field-based patient access liaisons across the region
• Hold team accountable for performance, training, compliance, and key performance metrics
• Develop individual team members and provide ongoing training and expertise
• Coordinate with area sales directors, hub services, and cross-functional teams on patient access support
• Identify emerging patient needs and communicate with internal teams; oversee patient programs and quarterly reporting

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years patient access experience, OR Master's degree with 4+ years, OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years
• People management experience or demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing others
• Experience in rare diseases and/or pharmaceutical and medical industry
• Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG guidelines and compliant medical communications
• Understanding of insurance, reimbursement, and foundation assistance programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis; strong presentation skills
• Ability to travel 50-75% regionally with occasional overnight and weekend commitments
