You will be the checkpoint between production and the customer, inspecting incoming and outgoing metal parts and confirming they meet print before they move. You will work hands-on with precision tools and first-article documentation on aerospace and defense components.

- Inspect incoming and outgoing metal materials, visual and dimensional, and approve, reject, or return against specification

- Measure parts to confirm dimensional compliance with engineering drawings, specs, and customer requirements

- Work with micrometers, calipers, height gauge, pins and block gauge, and optical comparator

- Run and document first article inspection reports to AS9102

- Identify, document, and report non-conforming parts and measurement discrepancies

- Operate a Faro Arm or Leica for dimensional inspection

- Record inspection data in the MRP/ERP system; Discus software a plus

????????????????????????????????:

- 3+ years aerospace metal manufacturing experience

- 2+ years manufacturing quality control inspection experience

- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and AS9102 first article inspection reports

- 1 to 2 years with a Faro Arm or Leica

- Comfortable reading blueprints, specs, mylars, and job travelers, with solid reading and math skills

- Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) designation

- Experience with Discus software

- MRP/ERP system experience

- 2+ years of college or equivalent education and work experience

????????????: $25 to $31 per hour depending on experience

????????????????????????????????: Full-time, on-site in Torrance, CA (shift to be confirmed)
