Marketing and Business Planning Analyst I

Overview: HL Mando America is looking to hire a detail-oriented, critical-thinking professional to join the Sales Management Team as a Marketing & Business Planning Analyst. The position of Marketing & Business Planning Analyst is a highly specialized and essential role at HL Mando America. The Marketing & Business Planning Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data, providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide sales and marketing activities, planning business strategy, and supporting sales activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages company database, including OEM and Program/Product information, in SAP for seamless connectivity among Sales & Marketing company systems
• Establish Midterm Sales Plan and manage Sales Plans for North and South America via SAP, including updating/uploading forecast database to generate monthly and yearly expected sales revenue that are used for global financial reports
• Develop and strategically define yearly target business acquisition plan to win new business orders from major OEM’s for continuous revenue growth in North America based on Sales Plan
• Analyze marketing metrics for identifying effect/cause relationships between financial outcomes and marketing actions to raise profitability
• Work with H/Q counterparts in Korea for sales planning and acquisition targeting, acting as a bridge between U.S. Account Managers and Korean management
• Conduct market research for determining brand perceptions, understanding customer needs, evaluating market penetration, analyzing competitors
• Build marketing dashboards, which visualizes fundamental performance indicators
• Complete competitive analysis for maintaining the company competitor advantages
• Integrate market research information with company system to develop new opportunities
• Collect market information about customer activities, industry trends and political economic issues in North America and the world to distribute on a daily basis
• Analyze market intelligence to provide guidance in company’s strategic decision-making process and to prepare various reports for H/Q and NA office management/executive meetings
• Conduct industry analysis: Technological, Social, Political, and Economical for market intelligence reports sent directly to Chief Management Officer in Global Sales & Marketing Center in Korea
• Monitor and track press releases and news about competitors and customers' status that would affect Mando business

Qualifications & Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Marketing, Business or related fields from an accredited institution
• Exceptional knowledge of sales, business and marketing processes
• Strong business reporting, project management and writing skills
• Should be able to develop effectual relationships and operate with senior executives
• Effective leadership, time management and organizational skills
• Strong business acumen, analytical, problem solving, data manipulation and management skills
• Should be able to contribute to planning and strategic thinking
• Strong computer skills that include reporting software and business intelligence (SAP, Microsoft Office)
• Exceptional written as well as verbal communication skills in both English and Korean. (Many reports are to be made both in English and Korean
• Should be able to travel (domestic) as required
• High level of personal enthusiasm and self-motivation
