Step Into a Day of Precision

You arrive to a clean, organized 5S workstation. The first blueprint on your bench outlines a critical component destined for an industrial fluid or transport system. You set fixtures, confirm measurements, and choose the right process—TIG for a tight, high-spec seam in Hastelloy, or MIG for a robust carbon steel assembly. You weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, keeping heat input in check to avoid distortion, then verify your work against exacting specifications before documenting results and moving to the next build.

• Produce high-spec parts using both TIG and MIG processes
• Work across stainless steel, carbon steel, Monel, and Hastelloy
• Read and apply blueprints, welding symbols, and process specifications
• Set up parts with precision using measurement tools, fixtures, and rotary tables (when applicable)
• Control heat, fit-up, and sequence to prevent distortion, overheating, or defects
• Inspect finished welds for conformance to stringent quality standards
• Meet safety, quality, and production targets while maintaining a 5S workspace
• Complete required production documentation accurately and on time

During the interview, you’ll complete a hands-on weld test. We use a tiered evaluation (Level I–III) to assess your skills and set your starting pay—Level I minimum required. This structured approach provides clarity on expectations and a roadmap for advancement.

• 2+ years of TIG and MIG welding experience
• Ability to interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications
• Proficiency welding in multiple positions: flat, vertical, and overhead
• Solid understanding of welding equipment and setup
• Ability to pass the on-site welding test (Level I minimum required)
• Comfort working in a manufacturing/shop environment

• Welding pressure vessels, valves, or other regulated components
• Hands-on time with exotic alloys such as Monel and Hastelloy
• Familiarity with ISO or comparable quality systems
• Experience using rotary tables or precision welding setups
• AWS certification or equivalent training
