CONSTRUCTION WORKER

The purpose of this position is to provide support in the construction and maintenance of City infrastructure. This is accomplished by operating various types of heavy and light equipment, constructing water, wastewater and storm drain lines, repairing asphalt and concrete roads, providing maintenance to water and sewer lines. Other duties include maintaining and repairing equipment such as backhoes, pick‑ups, dump trucks, and various tools and interacting with other City employees and citizens. No experience required. Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License. Must obtain a valid Class A learner’s permit within 30 days as a condition of continued employment.
