Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on accounting work, financial reporting, account analysis, and supporting accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with accounting leadership and internal departments to maintain reliable financial records, resolve discrepancies, and support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvements. This opportunity offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, exposure to SAP, and the potential to transition into a long-term role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal review and audit support.
- Analyze account variances, identify discrepancies, and work with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain organized accounting records, update financial systems, and support process improvements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special accounting projects assigned by the accounting manager.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $85,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job type: Temporary with potential to become temp-to-hire for the right candidate.
- Location: Huntington Beach, CA.
