About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Pricing & Inventory to lead the strategic and operational aspects of enterprise pricing and inventory initiatives. The successful candidate will be the primary business and operational leader, ensuring that pricing strategies and inventory optimization workflows align with business objectives, market conditions, and operational priorities. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption, performance, and continuous improvement of pricing and inventory initiatives across the dealership network, with a focus on optimizing inventory effectiveness and supporting profitable growth. Key responsibilities for the VP, Pricing & Inventory include providing strategic oversight of pricing and inventory model outputs, monitoring business outcomes, and identifying opportunities to improve pricing effectiveness and inventory turn. The role requires a strong understanding of pricing strategy, inventory management, retail operations, and business performance drivers, as well as the ability to influence decisions and build alignment across a highly matrixed organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, pricing, inventory management, analytics, or related disciplines. Experience in retail, automotive, or operational performance, and a proven track record of leading large-scale operational or business performance initiatives, are highly valued.
