Insurance Verification Specialist
LHH seeks an Insurance Verification Specialist!
What You'll Do
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility
- Obtain authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications
- Review daily reports and update patient accounts
- Communicate deductibles, co-pays, and benefit details to patients
- Identify denied services and notify appropriate staff
- Re-verify active insurance monthly
- Support billing leadership with account questions
What You Bring
- High school diploma
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in insurance verification, billing, authorizations, or collections
- Knowledge of medical terminology, managed care, CPT/ICD-9/10
- Strong data entry skills and comfort in fast-paced environments
This is an ONSITE position
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
