Registered Nurse PACU

Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) NurseProvide specialized post-anesthesia nursing care to patients in the PACU, ensuring safe recovery following surgical procedures. Utilize advanced critical care skills to monitor and assess patient stability and identify potential complications.Deliver comprehensive post-operative care to patients in phase I and phase II recovery units. Monitor vital signs, surgical incisions, and body temperature to detect early signs of complications. Administer medications, IV fluids, and utilize equipment such as PCA pumps, Braun IV pumps, and cryocuffs. Collaborate with surgical teams to develop appropriate care plans and escalate issues as needed. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Respond promptly to patient needs and provide critical interventions during recovery periods.Hold an active state of Hawaii Registered Nurse license. Possess 2+ years of critical care RN experience, preferably in ER or ICU settings. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. PALS certification is recommended and may be required for specific roles. Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech, Pyxis, SCDs, and HP monitors.
