Role Senior/Staff Software Engineer Payments & Fraud
Location: Seattle, WA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid minimum 4 days onsite/week
Core requirement: This is primarily a Payments / Commerce / Fraud + Backend/Cloud Architecture role, not a generic Java backend position.
Key Requirements
- 6 10+ years software development experience
- 5+ years hands-on payments & commerce systems
- Strong payment processing, fraud prevention, asset protection
- PCI / SOX compliance
- Enterprise-scale payment operations
- Microservices & REST APIs
- Cloud architecture & cloud security
- Secure, scalable distributed systems
- SaaS platforms
- System integration across multiple services
- Strong coding and code-review/technical leadership experience
- Ability to establish coding/testing standards across teams
- Bachelor's in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent
- AI/ML and analytics experience preferred
- Seattle-area candidate able to work onsite 4+ days/week
