We are seeking a Clinical Dietetic Technician (CDT) to support the Veteran community in the Bay Pines, FL area. This position is open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals.

Position Highlights

• Pay: $25.00 / hour
• Contract Type: 4-month base period with an additional 4-month option period.
• Operating Hours: 5:30 a.m. 8:00 p.m., 7 days per week. Including Holidays
• Location: 10,000 Bay Pines BLVD, Bay Pines, FL 33744.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• A bachelor's degree or at least 24 semester hours in a nutrition-related field or Dietetic Technician Registered credentials (NDTR or DTR).
• Must have experience performing duties in food service in a hospital environment.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, such as, but not limited to International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI), Renal, Diabetic, Cardiac, and Medical Nutrition Therapy for health and a wide variety of disease states.
• Experience with performing basic computer functions, including but not limited to word processing, email communication, data entry, internet navigation, and use of common office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• This position requires effective communication skills both verbally and in writing and good customer service.
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus
