Senior Payroll Manager

Owning end-to-end payroll operations, the full-time Senior Payroll Manager will manage payroll for over 500 employees across two legal entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy while transitioning payroll services in-house and implementing a new HRIS system. Key responsibilities Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll cycles for salaried and hourly employees Lead the transition from PEO to Rippling, collaborating with the People team and outsourced vendors for a smooth implementation Maintain payroll system configuration, ensuring compliance with payroll tax filings and managing benefits-related payments Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience; CPP certification preferred 7-8+ years of hands-on, multi-state payroll experience in a similarly sized organization Expertise with HRIS platforms, particularly Rippling, and experience in payroll tax compliance Proven ability to implement strong internal controls and support audits Experience in benefits administration related to payroll, including 401(k) and health/welfare deductions
