This position offers flexibility with remote work settings while delivering services within local schools in Aurora. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students and their families to identify social, emotional, and psychological needs, thereby forming a clear understanding of their challenges.

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care to support positive mental health outcomes.

• Develop personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, regularly review and adjust these plans based on progress and changing needs.

• Actively advocate for students' rights, ensuring equitable access to educational resources and community support, while raising awareness around social justice issues.

• Contribute to the development and evaluation of programs that effectively address the needs of the student population and enhance overall service delivery.

• Cooperate with teachers, school administrators, and local organizations to implement workshops and programs aimed at fostering awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

• Engage in regular team meetings to share insights, collaborate on strategies, and participate in community outreach activities promoting improved mental health awareness.

This role focuses on a diverse range of clients, including school-aged children and their families. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
