Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. Start date 09/08/2026 for a weeks-long assignment on a 3x12-hour Night shift in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,580 to $1,717. This 48-bed unit cares for adults and geriatrics with a 1:6 patient ratio; Epic is the charting system and orientation is 24 hours. This travel role requires prior travel experience and may include floating to other units if competencies permit. Guaranteed hours are not offered for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients, including those requiring telemetry
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IV access, blood products, and perform essential procedures (e.g., wound care, wound VAC, chest tubes)
- Support respiratory needs with HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP as indicated; assist with post-op and trauma care
- Interpret ABG results, manage isolation precautions, CIWA withdrawal protocols, and participate in rapid response/escalation as needed
- Perform and document care in Epic; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy) and contribute to discharge planning

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a valid Compact state license in hand at submittal
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred; travel experience required
- Trauma experience (Level II) preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work night shift and function in a hospital Med/Surg/Telemetry environment
- Floating eligibility if competent
