Job Description
Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, 3x12s
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Cardiac ICU experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC charting system required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical care patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Administer blood products and emergency medications as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform necessary procedures, including IV starts, central line management, and dysrhythmia recognition.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 36 hours
- COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only).
- Recent time off must be disclosed with submission and included in contract.
