Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Medical ICU

Schedule: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience.
• Current state or compact nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 2:1.
• Proficient in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, and complex medication regimens.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients in the Medical ICU.
• Monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation and administer hemodynamic support.
• Conduct assessments and respond to patient needs effectively.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous lines and blood products.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 72 hours.
• 2 shifts of pre-approved time off.
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
