Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Schedule
12-hour day/night rotating shifts.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience.
- Current state or compact nursing license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Experience with a patient ratio of 2:1.
- Proficient in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, and complex medication regimens.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients in the Medical ICU.
- Monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation and administer hemodynamic support.
- Conduct assessments and respond to patient needs effectively.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous lines and blood products.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 72 hours.
- 2 shifts of pre-approved time off.
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
