MEMS Sensors Product Engineer Intern

Job Location Internship located at our ST office in Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities Execute characterization plans and report findings. Create and execute qualification plans including test definitions, pre and post stress data analysis, and final reporting of results. Perform bench validation of key product requirements, including hardware and software design, correlation with ATE data, etc. Interface with manufacturing site to ramp the product into high volume manufacturing. Interface with assembly for product BOMs and building samples. Key Challenges Interface with other engineers to problem solve product errata, customer returns or test procedure debug. Confront challenges in ASIC and MEMS design or quality issues, requiring strong knowledge in data analysis, design of experiments, and use of the 8D process to root cause and correct failures. Interface with Design, Process, Test, Quality, Manufacturing and Customers throughout the New Product Introduction cycle of a program. Cross-functional Aspects Engage with Design, Process, Test, Quality, Manufacturing and Customers throughout the New Product Introduction cycle of a program. Required Skills & Experience BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering. Prior product experience with Sensor/MEMS knowledge is a strong plus. Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills – both oral and written. Proficiency with technical analysis tools such as JMP, MS Excel, MS Project.
